This Sunday we celebrated the first scrutiny in preparation for the Baptism of the catechumens who are to be admitted to the Sacraments of Christian Initiation at the Easter Vigil. In this third Sunday of Lent we are all drawing closer to the light of the cross. We also started daylight savings time so are days are literally getting longer and lighter.

Those in RCIA are drawing nearer to entering the light of Christ. This is a good time to start thinking about inviting those that friends and family who have drifted away from the church to come home for Easter.
